I have always been a creative person, with a passion for drawing, colouring, cake baking,  decorating, story making and so much more.

My first leap into writing began with short romance stories in high school.  Silly tales about long lost love, forbidden romances and secret desires. Nothing ever came of them, and they were only read by a close friend.

Leaving school behind, I lost my passion for the written word, extending it only to reading books. It wasn't till many years later, I was encouraged to write again by a close friend, and once I found the inspiration, the stories began to flood my mind.

Despite the writing flourishing, it was hard to find the time to keep the stories going. I was also a single mother, raising two children and working part time in retail.

To add to the adventures of my own personnel life, and further delays in my novel writing, I moved from Western Australia, to Queensland with my kids, to be closer to my family and to start a new chapter in my own story.

With the move came great bonuses.  A more relaxed lifestyle, the beach only one and a half kilometers away, and I entered into a new career within the hospital industry. With a better financial outlook, I was able to buy my first home. A small house, but one I could proudly call my own but I never gave up the writing.

It may have taken over fifteen years since I started writing again, with a few bumps and hiccups along the road, but I am proud to say, I have now published two books, with many more still to be written.

When I am not writing, I enjoy reading, gaming, have a terrible sweet tooth for chocolate and most sugary things and is borderline the crazy cat lady, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
