Remember Me

When Amber Cooper wakes up in hospital, she has no memory of who she is or where she came from. Suffering from retrograde amnesia, Amber begins a new life, in a new town, and right now, everything, everything seems to be going well.
She starts a new job, and falls in love, but unfortunately for Amber, her past has not forgotten about her.
What will she do, when ultimately, her past catches up to her.
Will she escape or will she be drawn back into the nightmare that was her life.
This is Karen's debut book, which was published in 2025. She started writing this in 2009, and it was a hard one to complete, emotionally.
Remember Me was written as a suspense/thriller/mystery with a touch of contemporary romance but with a strong emphasis on domestic violence.
As a survivor of emotional and mental abuse in relationships, Karen wrote this book to help her heal. It took many years to not only see the red flags in her relationships, but to find the courage and strength to walk away from those situations.
For some readers, this novel might hit home, make them uncomfortable or even cause anxiety or stress, as this novel may contain trigger warnings. But for the most part, this novel is about healing, about finding the strength needed to leave a bad situation and move towards a better life.
